Replacing front windscreen wiper blades 1

With the windscreen wipers in the off position and the ignition switched off, raise the windscreen wiper blade arm, 3, press the tab 2 and push the blade downwards to release it from its housing.

Refitting the front wiper blade

Slide the blade along the arm until it clips on. Make sure that the blade is correctly locked in position. Return the wiper to the park position.

When replacing the whole assembly, never press on the wiper blade rubber1.

  • In frosty weather, make sure that the wiper blades are not stuck by ice (to avoid the risk of the motor overheating).
  • Check the condition of the wiper blades. They should be replaced as soon as they become less efficient : approximately once a year.

When changing the blade, when it has been removed, do not let the wiper arm fall against the window : risk of breaking the window.

Replacing rear windscreen wiper blades 4

With the wiper in the park position and the ignition off, lift wiper arm 5. Pivot wiper blade 4 until some resistance is met (movement B). Pull the blade (movement CB). Pull the blade (movement C) to release it.

Refitting the rear wiper blade

To refit the wiper blade, proceed in the reverse order to removal. Make sure that the blade is correctly locked in position.

Check condition of the blades. You are responsible for their correct maintenance:

  • clean the blades, windscreen and rear screen regularly with soapy water;
  • do not use the wipers when the windscreen is dry;
  • lift them off the windscreen when they have not been used for a long time.
