Selecting reverse gear

(vehicle stationary)

Vehicles with a manual gearbox: move the lever to the neutral position, then move the lever to the reverse gear position.

Observe the shift pattern on the knob 1 and lift the ring 2 up against the knob in order to engage reverse gear.

Vehicles with an automatic gearbox:Automatic gearbox, electronic lever.

The reversing lights will come on as soon as reverse gear is selected with the ignition on.
