The tools included in the tool kit depend on the vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle, to access the tool kits:

  • open the tailgate;
  • depending on the vehicle, lift up the movable floor and/or the luggage compartment carpet.

Wheel brace 1

This can be used to lock or unlock the wheel bolts and the towing eye 3.

Tool kits A, B and C are located next to the emergency spare wheel or are located in the luggage compartment side storage compartments.

Jack 2

To use the jack, unscrew the nut 4 to the end of the rod 5 and rotate it upwards (movement D). When replacing the jack, fold it correctly before replacing it in its position (make sure to put back the wheel brace).

Tighten the nut 4 to secure the jack.

For your safety, the use of a jack not recommended by the manufacturer is strictly prohibited.

The jack is specific to the vehicle and used to change the wheels.

Under no circumstances should it be used:

  • on another vehicle;
  • to carry out a repair;
  • to access the underside of the vehicle.

Do not leave the tools unsecured inside the vehicle as they may be projected during braking. After use, check that all the tools are correctly clipped into the tool kit, then position it correctly in its housing to reduce any risk of injury.

If bolts are supplied with the emergency spare wheel, you must use these bolts only for the emergency spare wheel.
