The Hybrid system selects the combustion engine and/or the electric engine according to the driving style (smooth or sporty driving, etc.) and traffic conditions.

Bad weather, flooded roads:

Do not drive through floods if the depth of water is above the lower edge of the wheel rims.

Energy flow indicator 1

Vehicle equipped with an on-board computer A

Depending on the driving mode selected, the indicator 1 represents the energy flows between:

  • 2_ALL_391_1_pictogramme.png the electrical assembly (traction battery and electric motor);
  • 2_ALL_064_1_pictogramme.png the combustion engine;

The colour of the flows varies:

  • in blue: electrical energy;
  • in white: energy produced by the combustion engine.

"Electric traction" B flow

The electrical assembly is used to move the vehicle.

"Combustion engine traction" C flow

The combustion engine is used to move the vehicle.

"Energy recovery" D flow

When you lift your foot off the accelerator pedal or when you press on the brake pedal, the electric motor and/or the regenerative braking system convert the energy produced by the vehicle deceleration into electric energy.

This is used to brake the vehicle and recharge the traction battery.

"Energy production" E flow

The combustion engine recharges the traction battery.

Note: the various flows can be combined (e.g. the combination of flow B and flow C indicates that both the combustion engine and the electric motor are being used to move the vehicle).

All-electric driving mode

Warning light 2 2_ALL_419_1_pictogramme.png is displayed on the instrument panel to inform you that the Hybrid system is using only the electrical assembly to move the vehicle.

Note: Depending on the vehicle, when the vehicle is driven in all-electric mode, the steering wheel paddles are not active Driving in manual mode.

tip

It is recommended that you do not drive in all-electric mode with the fuel tank empty.

If the orange 2_ALL_522_1_pictogramme.png warning light appears on the instrument panel and a beep sounds, fill the tank with fuel as soon as possible.

Risk of immobilisation

If there is no fuel in the tank, the vehicle automatically switches to all-electric mode.

If you drive until the traction battery is depleted, it will be impossible to restart the vehicle (even after refuelling). Call an approved Dealer.
